Hudson Public Square
Since the 19th century, the 7th street Public Square has been the heart of the historic city of Hudson, New York. The most used park in the city, it is much more than a place of rest and relaxation. It’s the start of parades; Winter Walk kicks off here with music and speeches: and there are concerts and rallies throughout the year. And since 2014 it has been the home of Hudson's Grassroots Farmer's Market.
Recently The Friends of the Public Square was founded to engage the community in the revitalization of the park. As a 501(c)3, it has a close working relationship with the City of Hudson and an on-going collaboration with the Department of Public Works (DPW).
